- This policy covers how ZEBO treats personal information
that ZEBO collects and receives, including information related
to your past use of ZEBO products and services. Personal
information is information about you that is personally
identifiable like your name, address, email address, or
phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.
- The privacy practices of this statement apply to our services
available under the domain and subdomains of www.ZEBO.com
(the "Site") (including http://shop.zedo.com and
affiliate sites) and apply generally to our subsidiaries
or joint venture websites. By visiting this website you
agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy
Policy. If you do not agree please do not use or access
our Site.
- This policy does not apply to the practices of companies
that ZEBO does not control.
- This Privacy Policy describes the information, as part
of the normal operation of our services, we collect from
you and what may happen to that information. Although this
policy may seem long, we have prepared a detailed policy
because we believe you should know as much as possible about
ZEBO's practices so that you can make informed decisions.
All of our subsidiaries and joint ventures operate under
similar privacy practices as described in this Privacy Policy
and, subject to the requirements of applicable law, we strive
to provide a consistent set of privacy practices throughout
the global ZEBO trading community.
- By accepting the Privacy Policy and the User Agreement
in registration, you expressly consent to our use and disclosure
of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy
Policy. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject
to the terms of the ZEBO User Agreement. This Privacy Policy
is effective upon acceptance in registration for new registering
users, and is otherwise effective on April 30th, 2005 for
all users.
Information Collection and
Use
General
- ZEBO collects personal information when you register with
ZEBO, when you use ZEBO sites, when you visit ZEBO pages
or the pages of certain ZEBO partners, and when you enter
promotions or sweepstakes. ZEBO may combine information
about you that we have with information we obtain from business
partners or other companies.
- When you register we ask for information such as your
name, email address, birth date, gender, zip code, occupation,
industry, and personal interests. For some financial products
and services we may also ask for your address, Social Security
number, and information about your assets. Once you register
with ZEBO and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous
to us.
- ZEBO collects information about your transactions with
us and with some of our business partners, including information
about your use of financial products and services that we
offer.
- ZEBO automatically receives and records information on
our server logs from your browser, including your IP address,
ZEBO cookie information, and the page you request.
- ZEBO uses information for the following general purposes:
to customize the advertising and content you see, fulfill
your requests for products and services, improve our services,
contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting
for internal and external clients.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
- ZEBO does not rent, sell, or share personal information
about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except
to provide products or services you've requested, when we
have your permission, or under the following circumstances:
- We provide the information to trusted partners who
work on behalf of or with ZEBO under confidentiality
agreements. These companies may use your personal information
to help ZEBO communicate with you about offers from
ZEBO and our marketing partners. However, these companies
do not have any independent right to share this information.
- We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process,
or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend
against legal claims;
- We believe it is necessary to share information in
order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding
illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving
potential threats to the physical safety of any person,
violations of ZEBO's terms of use, or as otherwise required
by law.
- We transfer information about you if ZEBO is acquired
by or merged with another company. In this event, ZEBO
will notify you before information about you is transferred
and becomes subject to a different privacy policy. ZEBO
may display targeted advertisements based on personal
information. Advertisers (including ad serving companies)
may assume that people who interact with, view, or click
on targeted ads meet the targeting criteria - for example,
women ages 18-24 from a particular geographic area or
ZEBO users who have clicked on Digital Camera ads before.
- ZEBO does not provide any personal information to
the advertiser when you interact with or view a targeted
ad. However, by interacting with or viewing an ad you
are consenting to the possibility that the advertiser
will make the assumption that you meet the targeting
criteria used to display the ad.
- ZEBO advertisers include financial service providers
(such as banks, insurance agents, stock brokers and
mortgage lenders) and non-financial companies (such
as stores, airlines, and software companies).
- ZEBO works with vendors, partners, advertisers, and other
service providers in different industries and categories

- If you choose to buy or sell on the Site, we collect information
about your buying and selling behavior. We also collect
other users' comments about you in our feedback, reviews,
personal shopping pages and buyer ratings areas.
- If you establish a credit account with us to pay the fees
we charge, we collect some additional information, such
as a billing address, a credit card number and a credit
card expiration date and tracking information from checks
or money orders.
Cookies
- ZEBO may set and access ZEBO cookies on your computer.
- ZEBO cookies are stored in the ZEBO.com or the ZEDO.com
domain name.
- ZEBO lets other companies that show advertisements on
some of our pages set and access their cookies on your computer.
Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to their
own privacy policies, not this one. Advertisers or other
companies do not have access to ZEBO's cookies.
- ZEBO may show ads to you on other sites based using data
stored in the ZEBO.com or ZEDO.com cookies.
- ZEBO uses web beacons to access ZEBO cookies inside and
outside our network of web sites and in connection with
ZEBO products and services.
Your Ability to Edit and Delete
Your Account Information
General
- You can edit your ZEBO Account Information, including
your marketing preferences, at any time.
- New categories of marketing communications may be added
to the Marketing Preferences page from time to time. Users
who visit this page can opt out of receiving future marketing
communications from these new categories or they can unsubscribe
by following instructions contained in the messages they
receive.
- We reserve the right to send you certain communications
relating to the ZEBO service, such as service announcements,
administrative messages and the ZEBO Newsletter, that are
considered part of your ZEBO account. You can opt out from
receiving these emails.
Children
- Children (persons under the age of 18) are not eligible
to use the Site unsupervised and we ask that children do
not submit any personal information to us. If you are under
the age of 18, you may only use this Site in conjunction
with and under the supervision of your parents or guardians.
Confidentiality and Security
- We limit access to personal information about you to employees
who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with
that information to provide products or services to you
or in order to do their jobs.
- We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards
that comply with federal regulations to protect personal
information about you.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
- ZEBO may update this policy. We will notify you about
significant changes in the way we treat personal information
by sending a notice to the primary email address specified
in your ZEBO account or by placing a prominent notice on
our site.
ZEBO Community
- Your User ID is displayed throughout the Site and is therefore
available to the public. All of your activities on the Site
will be identifiable to your User ID. Other people can see
your bids, items that you have purchased in the past, your
feedback rating and associated comments, your postings on
the Site, and so on. Therefore, if you associate your name
with your User ID, the people you have revealed your name
to will be able to personally identify your ZEBO activities.
Although our pages are coded with robot exclusion headers,
others may illegally attempt to automatically collect your
email address from the Site. We describe how to change your
email and User ID below in Section 8. We also provide a
number of ways to allow other users to find out more about
you and your site activities, such as our feature that allows
users to quickly see all of the items you are offering at
the time. If you are involved in a transaction, we have
features that allow other users to view your email address
and obtain your contact and shipping information to help
complete the transaction. Further, we may send out notices
to you or other community members regarding suspicious activity
or policy violations on the Site.
Your Use of Other Users' Information
- In order to facilitate interaction among all ZEBO community
members, our Site allows you limited access other users'
contact and shipping information. As a seller you have access
to the User ID, email address and other contact and shipping
information of the buyer or winning bidder(s), and as a
buyer or winning bidder you have access to the User ID,
email address and other contact information of the seller.
- By entering into our User Agreement, you agree that, with
respect to other users' personal information that you obtain
through the Site or through a ZEBO-related communication
or ZEBO-facilitated transaction, ZEBO hereby grants to you
a license to use such information only for: (a) ZEBO-related
communications that are not unsolicited commercial messages,
(b) using services offered through ZEBO (e.g. escrow, insurance,
shipping and fraud complaints), and (c) any other purpose
that a user expressly agrees to after you tell them the
purpose you would like to use it for. In all cases, you
must give users an opportunity to remove themselves from
your database and a chance to review what information you
have collected about them. In addition, under no circumstances,
except as defined in this Section, can you disclose personal
information about another user to any third party without
our consent and the consent of that user. You agree that
other users may use your personal information to communicate
with you in accordance with this Section.
Prohibited, Questionable & Infringing Item Policy
All sellers are responsible to ensure that none of the following
questionable or infringing items are placed in or promoted,
reproduced or distributed or published in association or conjunction
with this site.
- Products which are or which contain adult or sexually
oriented materials including, but not limited to, any item
related to child pornography
- Products, which promote hate, violence or racial or ethnic
intolerance
- Products related to organizations which promote hate,
violence or racial intolerance including, but not limited
to, the Ku Klux Klan ("KKK"), Nazis, Neo-Nazis, "Skinheads"
and Aryan Nation or any known or suspected terrorist organizations
- Any items or matters pertaining to the sale or lease of
real estate;
- The sale or exchange of personal property including without
limiting same, weapons, knives;
- Any step, proceeding or action which would infringe upon
copyright, trademark, industrial design or patent rights
or which would otherwise be prohibited in this regard;
- Any action or activity, which would be prohibited by the
laws of the United States of America or any international
law. We reserve the right to reject any product in our sole
and absolute discretion of what is determined to be unsuitable
for the above reasons, or for any other reason whatsoever.
Potential liability continues notwithstanding the promotion,
sale or exchange does not require monetary compensation or
payment.
This list is updated from time to time and is incorporated
by reference into the Seller Agreement.

Unpaid Item Policy
Buyers automatically enter into a legally binding contract
to purchase the item from the seller when they complete the
payment process on www.zebo.com.
Our Unpaid Item policy requires buyers to pay for the items
that they have committed to purchase. We reserve the right
to take action against buyers who do not pay up for the committed
sales.
Our Sellers can bring to our notice any breach of promise
on part of the customer buying their products from the Zebo
Shop.
We encourage the Buyer and seller to communicate directly
on Unpaid Items. However on our side we will communicate with
the customer on email to make him pay up for the transaction.
If there is no positive action from the buyer side and there
is no valid reason as well for not paying up then we will
issue a negative marking for the buyer.
If a buyer gets too many negative markings in a relatively
short period of time, Zebo reserves the right to suspend his
or her account.
If we find that there is a false reporting on part of the
Seller, then s/he may be subject to suspension.
